Summer stuff for teens at EAPL!

Do you have any idea how many different kinds of prizes you can win this summer? We're giving away books and gift cards to iTunes, Amazon, Regal Cinema, and Barnes & Noble. We're even giving away a Kindle.

Yes, A KINDLE. With a $50 Amazon gift card.

Here's how it all works:

1. Read books this summer. That part is easy enough, right?
2. Fill out a raffle slip for each book you read. You can get these from either branch of the library or submit your entry online. You can also click here for a printable slip.
3. Choose which prize you'd like if your name is chosen as a winner (you have a choice of iTunes, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Regal Cinema gift cards).
4. That's literally all you have to do.

Kill the Boy Band Bracket Challenge
Vote for the bands and musicians you love (and "kill off" the ones you don't) in this bracket-style elimination challenge. 

Your votes will decide who is the reigning musician at the end of the summer! We'll have a new poll posted online every week from June 11 to August 3. Links to the polls will be posted on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and also on posters in the library. Everyone who votes is eligible to win a BRAND NEW copy of Kill the Boy Band by Goldy Moldavsky!

Name That Day in Rap and Hip-Hop History
How well do you know your rap and hip-hop? Visit the library for a chance to show what you know and win prizes!

Both branches (Main and Palmer) will have a copy of Chuck D. Presents this Day in Rap and Hip-Hop History. Each week starting June 11, a different set of questions will be posted. Use the book to answer the questions. Teens who answer correctly will go into a raffle to win a BRAND NEW copy of the Chuck D. book! One winner will be chosen at each branch.

Teen Chat & Chew

It's basically a Food Club with a book addiction. Talk about books you've read (whether you liked them or hated them... there's no judging, we promise) and have lots of snacks.

Open house for new and current members! Join us for a massive pizza party! We'll chat and have tons of food. Bring some friends if you'd like!
